Devos, Darroussin and Caravaca for Jérôme Bonnell

J'attends quelqu'un (lit. "I Am Waiting For Someone"), the third feature from young filmmaker Jérôme Bonnell, is to star a top drawer cast, which includes Emmanuelle Devos, Jean-Pierre Darroussin and Eric Caravaca.

Shooting will take place in Paris and will last eight weeks, starting April 18. Written by the director, the script of J'attends quelqu'un is based on three stories that begin in an enigmatic manner: a man returns to a town after two years of separation from his wife and child, a couple that have been married for 15 years and are childless find a dog in a square, and the father of a seven-year-old boy regularly frequents a prostitute.

J'attends quelqu'un – which received an advance on receipts from the Centre National de la Cinématographie (CNC), funding from the Ile-de-France region and a pre-sales agreement from Canal + – is being produced by Anne-Dominique Toussaint for Les Films des Tournelles.

The producer, who also heads Belgian outfit Les Films de l'Etang, continues her work searching and developing new French and European talents with Bonnell. In recent years, Toussaint has produced Le Coût de la vie (lit. "The Price of Life") by Philippe Le Guay and The Moustache by Emmanuel Carrère, while also co-producing Grazia’s Island [+see also:
