Wild Bunch is also hedging its bets on Emir Kusturica’s documentary Maradona, which will be distributed in France by Pan Européenne, in Italy by BIM and in Germany by Telepool. Other strong titles include the new project by Luc Jacquet, The Fox and the Child , and the animated film Azur & Asmar by Michel Ocelot, currently in post-production and produced by Nord-Ouest Production, with help from Lucky Red. The film has already been sold in Benelux, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Scandinavia and the former Yugoslavia.

The impressive line-up further includes The Golden Door by Emanuele Crialese (sold to France, Benelux, Switzerland, the former Yugoslavia, Italy, Portugal, Rumania and Poland); Spanish title Pan’s Labyrinth by Guillermo del Toro (acquired for Greece, France, Spain, Benelux, Switzerland, Portugal and the former Yugoslavia); and The Man of My Life by Zabou Breitman (see article).

The company is also hopeful for Murderers by Patrick Grandperret (see news), Arrivederci amore, ciao by Italy’s Michele Soavi and Charlie Says by Nicole Garcia (see article), which will use a promo to complete sales already made to France, Benelux, Switzerland, Scandinavia, Portugal, Rumania, Greece and Italy. Wild Bunch also announced Eric Barbier’s The Snake, which features Yvan Attal and Clovis Cornillac and is currently in production

Let us not forget, however, those films already in post-production, such as Charleston & Vendetta by Serbia’s Uros Stojanovic, Sergei Bodrov’s Nomad, Cargo by Clive Gordon, and a very solid slate of completed films (including Viva Zapatero !, Sheitan [+see also:
