, the 8th feature from Emir Kusturica with shooting starting at the beginning of 2006 in the Belgrade area. Also a partner on the project majority produced by the filmmaker’s company (Rasta Films), StudioCanal has come onboard as co-producer and will handle the international sales of the film whose cast will be made up mainly of locals. With a 7 million euros budget, Promets-le moi follows the misadventures of a young man trying to respect the last wishes of his grandfather, a man from the countryside who wants his grandson to go to the town to find a woman.

Visible thanks to their fruitful association on eight features with François Ozon, the duo of young producers (Delboscq, 36 and Missonnier , 34) Fidélité hit the jackpot at the French box office in 2004 with Podium (more than 3,5 million admissions). Despite this success, the company’s strategy remains prudent, with budgets which they have not been tempted to inflate. But Fidélité, until now specialist in discovering new talent, has diversified its approach by working with more experienced filmmakers. Also, Bertrand Blier worked with the company for his new film Combien tu m'aimes? which comes out on the 26th October on French screens. With a royal cast including Monica Bellucci, Bernard Campan, Gérard Depardieu and Jean-Pierre Darroussin, this Fidélité production was co-produced by France 2 Cinéma, Wild Bunch - Exception (also in charge of international sales), Pan Européenne Production (who also handle distribution in France), Plateau A, Films Action and Italian BIM Distribuzione.
