The www.nontzeberri.com portal, in collaboration with the Festival of Fantastic Cinema of Bilbao has announced a competition for animated films for web space www.nontzeflash.com. Applications, which can be completed directly at www.nontzeflash.com, will be accepted by all and with no limit to the number of works; the only condition is that they all be presented in Flash format (SWF) and that they be no bigger than 2.5 MB.
There is no specific theme, but original films realized no later than January 1, 2003, will have to be sent by April 15, 2004 via e-mail to nontzeflash@nontzeflash.com, or on CD to Nontzeberri, Suspergintza Elkartea, Simon Bolivar kalea 8-b. 48010 Bilbao.

A jury of professionals, including Begoña Vicario (and director and professor of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the UPV), Ernesto del Rio (directtor of the International Festival of Shorts in Bilbao) and a representative of the production company of multimedial animation films Animatu will then select the best work which will go on to participate in the 2004 edition of the Festival of Fantasy of Bilbao, as well as enjoy cash awards between 2000 and 900 euro.
