At the end of approximately four weeks of filming, La fille sur l’étagère, the first feature film by Philippe Safir, is now in post-production. Heading up the cast are Philippe Torreton (awarded the Best Actor César in 1997 for Captain Conan, nominated again in 2000 and 2005, and more recently in 2012 for Guilty [+see also:

Written by Philippe Safir and François H. Legrand (who previously teamed up to write  the series Cellule de crise), the story follows Paul and Meilin who have been living under the same roof for several weeks. Through observing one another, they even begin to get to know each other. But they’ve never actually met…

La fille sur l’étagère is produced by Fabrice Préel-Cléach and Emmanuelle Latourrette on behalf of Offshore. Photography is entrusted to Bernard Jallet, while editing will fall to Giorgia Villa and music to Antoine Glatard.

For the record, Offshore are currently overseeing post-production on Hiver à Sokcho by Koya Kamura (starring Roschdy Zem in the lead role – read our news).
