The spirit of a film critic is formed early on in life. Based on this idea, and as part of the Cinedays initiative, the cinemaArenberg-Galeries of Brussels, together with schools, will present 5 films for younger viewers, aiming to encourage future film critics in the discovery of their European film heritage.

Two excellent animated films have been chosen for the youngest viewers, 4 years and older: Zorba and Lucky byEnzo d'Alo (Italy, 1999) and The Living Forest by Angel de la Cruz (Spain, 2001). France will be represented by the indispensable The 400 Blows by François Truffaut, for children from 9 years and older. For viewers aged between 12 and 15, Arenberg Galeries has chosen Kes by Ken Loach (Great Britain, 1970), which will be screened in English, and offers a critical look at the school and social system of the time, and those over 15, will be offered a look at modern, dynamic cinema with Tom Tykwer’s Run, Lola, Run .
