by Stéphanie Chuat and Véronique Reymond dominated the scene, scooping four awards in addition to the most prestigious prize (Best Fiction Film), namely Best Screenplay, Best Supporting Actress for Marthe Keller, Best Photography (Filip Zumbrunn) and Best Editing (Myriam Rachmuth). by the (theatre and film) director and writer Milo Rau, who, with the help of Yvan Sagnet, a former farm worker and militant from Cameroon, creates a new gospel for the 21st century, a touching manifesto which is full of humanity for a fairer and more respectful world.

In respect of the other categories, Your Street by Güzin Kar was handed the Quartz for Best Short Film, while another short, Darwin’s Notebook by Georges Schwizgebel, was crowned Best Animated Film. Urban Amazons by Thaïs Odermatt imposed itself as Best Graduate Film and Needle Park Baby [+see also:

by Pierre Bonnard also walked away with a Quartz in the form of Best Female Performance (thanks to the moving Sarah Spale). Alice Schmid, for her part, was rewarded for the soundtrack gracing her documentary Burning Memories [+see also:
