Written by Didier Barcelo and Marie Deshaires, the story retraces the madcap story of Louise, who finds herself trapped, one fine morning, in her very own car, paralysed by a panic attack the minute she tries to escape, and Paul, who steals her car and, by proxy, ends up kidnapping Louise. So begins an eventful and unintentional road-trip jam-packed with surprises…

Freestyle is produced by Michaël Gentile on behalf of The Film and by Jean Ozannat for Anomalie Films, and is co-produced by Memento (who are also managing distribution in French cinemas). Pre-purchased by Canal+ and OCS, the feature film also enjoys the support of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region (where the film will be shot in its entirety between 29 March and 7 May) as well as that of the SOFICA companies SG Image, Manon, Palatine Étoile, Cinémage and Cofinova. Photography is helmed by Christophe Beaucarne (nominated five times in his category since 2010, including for Barbara [+see also:
