A remote village on the edge of the woods, a rave, two young people reported missing and the nightmare of a monster back from the past... Investigating the crime is police officer Meda, a man defeated by life, and his rigorous and unyielding captain Rio. But this time the monster has taken the wrong person.

Loosely based on the novel of the same name by Giorgio Glaviano (published by Marsilio Editore) and scripted by Alfieri, Fabrizio Bettelli and Giorgio Glaviano himself, Mad Dog is an Italian International Film - Gruppo Lucisano and Vision Distribution production, whose distribution in Italy and abroad will likewise be managed by the latter.
