Reel Suspects pins its hopes on Out of This World
- The French sales agent has added Marc Fouchard’s film, which won the Grand Prix at the Cognac Crime Film Festival, to its line-up and will unveil it online at the 23rd Rendez-Vous with French Cinema
Specialising in "elevated genre", French international sales agent Reel Suspects managed to get through 2020, a complicated year for us all on account of the health crisis. Indeed, it inked some great deals for the thriller Ropes [+see also:

Out of This World, the second feature by the French filmmaker, following Break [+see also:

Written by Marc Fouchard himself, the story revolves around Léo, a very shy man who has trouble communicating with others. Only music makes him feel alive and more open-minded. However, he cannot afford to live off his music, and so he works as a taxi driver and lives in his own car. One day, Léo picks up Amélie, a deaf dancer. He seems charmed by her, and Amélie is also attracted to him.
Produced by Julien Russo and Gilles Commaille for Dacor Productions (a company that is staging its first feature with this title), Out of This World sees Pascal Boudet on board as DoP and Cyesm in charge of the score.
