Written by Guillaume Canet, the script focuses on a composer who is in need of inspiration. Having just left his wife and children, he thinks he'll find refuge in an old house on a deserted Breton island. In this strange and isolated place, he will find only an out-of-tune piano and visitors determined not to leave him in peace.

Produced by Alain Attal for Trésor Films, Lui is co-produced by TF1 Films Productions, Pathé, Canéo Films and Belgian companies Artemis Production and Shelter Prod. Also pre-bought by Canal+ and Ciné+, the feature film will be shot during a total of 22 days, with filming (which began on 14 September) taking place entirely at Belle-Ile-en-Mer.
