"The main purpose of the 'Europe Day – Big Stories from Small Countries' event is to present four successful films with Creative Europe MEDIA backing, coming from five small European countries. Without the support of MEDIA, one of the main goals of which is to encourage co-productions, films from countries with a low production capacity would not be able to achieve instant visibility or competitiveness," says the press release from Martina Petrović, at Croatia's MEDIA Desk.
