18/03/2020 - Anyone between the ages of 12 and 14 is welcome to join the international jury in a completely virtual format which is currently being developed

The European Film Academy and its partner network have announced the cancellation of all theatre jury screenings planned for 26 April in 40 countries across Europe and beyond for the 2020 EFA Young Audience Award due to the coronavirus crisis.

According to the EFA, "while nothing compares to the experience of watching a film in a theatre in a group of other film-lovers, in times like these the most important thing is to stop the virus from continuing to spread at high speed". The audiences will therefore be able to watch this year's films in a completely virtual format which is currently being developed. Anyone between the ages of 12 and 14 is welcome to join the international jury - online.
