. Three films shot entirely within three domestic settings, in as many formats and narrative modes.

The subject of The House of Love is Bianca Dolce Miele, a woman born with the body of a man. She is 45 years old, lives in Milan and has been a sex worker since she was 16. For twenty years she has been engaged to Natasha, a transwoman of Japanese origins who temporarily lives in her house in San Paolo, Brazil, for work and personal reasons. In the director’s note, the trilogy is described as “a body of work in which the author confronts themselves with and explores the spatial limitations of the narrative. These are three obsessive and pathological feature films in which the loneliness of the characters’ lives is always put in a relationship with the architectural space they inhabit”.

Pietro De Tilla and Andrea Zanoli collaborated on the cinematography of The House of Love, while Chiara Tognoli is in charge of editing. The film is produced by Andrea Zanoli of Lab80, Federico Minetti of Effendemfilm, in association with Enece Film, Prima Luce, Start.
