Twelve films that are currently in post-production and hail from South-Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean will be screened in the Agora’s Works in Progress section on 7 November. The closed session, which is an integral part of the Thessaloniki International Film Festival’s market (2-9 November), will offer the participating films the chance to be presented for the first time to sales agents, distributors, producers and festival representatives. Also, 11 of the selected titles will be in with a chance of winning one of the Agora Works in Progress post-production gongs, the value of which amounts to a total of €130,000. The main prize, the Eurimages Lab Project Award, comes with €50,000, while Greek post-production outfit Graal will provide in-kind services, and music company MuSou a Music and Sound Award.

The winners will be selected by the international jury, comprising Greek director-producer Steve Krikris; Italian film programmer at the Locarno Film Festival Daniela Persico; French sales agent Virginie Devesa, of Alpha Violet; and Karin Schockweiler, deputy director of Film Fund Luxembourg and the Eurimages representative in Luxembourg. The winners will be announced on 8 November.
