There’s an all star line-up for the second feature film by Yvan Attal, Il se marièrent et eurent beaucoup d’enfants. Once again the French director and actor will be working with his wife, Charlotte Gainsbourg, and the cast will also feature actors of the calibre of Johnny Depp, Emmanuelle Seigner, Alain Chabat and Anouk Aimée. Shooting on the film should be starting at the end of September.

, which was seen by more than 600,000 people when it was released in French cinemas in 2001, as well as gaining good results abroad (taking $1m at the American box office). As the saying goes, you don’t change a winning team and Yvan Attal has once again decided to work with the producer Claude Berri and his company, Hirsch. And, as before, Gainsbourg will be the playing protagonist in this new film. She was recently seen at the Venice Film Festival in the film by Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, 21 Grams. Added to this winning trio is the charismatic American actor, Johnny Depp, who is currently going down a storm in the European box office in the film Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.
The other members of the cast will be played by the actor and director, Alain Chabat (Asterix e Obelix: missione Cleopatra), Emmanuelle Seigner (Frantic) and Anouk Aimée. The story of the film still isn’t known, but no doubt it will certainly receive a lot of national press coverage throughout the production process.
