The seventh CEE Animation Forum, which took place in Třeboň from 6-8 May, has announced its award winners. Out of the 32 projects that took part across three categories, ten went home with prizes or Special Mentions.

In the Feature Film category, the jury, comprising filmmakers Anca Damian (Romania) and Mats Grorud (Norway), and acquisitions managers Alexis Hofmann (Bac, France), Marcin Łuczaj (New Europe Film Sales, Poland) and Marie-Pierre Valle (Wild Bunch, France), handed the main award, worth €1,000 in cash, to French filmmaker Zaven Najjar's Allah Is Not Obliged. A Special Mention went to Alan Holly's Piece (Ireland), and the director also received the Pop Up Film Residency Scholarship Award.

Serbia's Vojin Vasović scooped the Nespresso Audience Award and the Anomalia Scholarship Award for Twice Upon a Time.

The jury of the Series/TV Specials category, consisting of Italian filmmaker and new media manager Caterina de Mata, head of Education at New Horizons Maciej Jakubczyk, producers Manuela Lumb (Germany) and Emmanuèle Pétry-Sirvin (France), and Slovak writer Halka Marčeková, gave the main award of €1,000 to The Cat Princess by Hungary's Iván Tamás and a Special Mention to Grandma's Pond by Germany's Friedrich Schäper. German filmmaker Eliza Plocieniak-Alvarez bagged the Warsaw Kids Forum Direct Access Award for The Very Hairy Alphabet.

In the Shorts category, judged by French producers Olivier Catherin and Damien Megherbi, Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival executive Laurent Crouzeix, animator-producer Jamie Kezlarian Bolio, Croatian director-producer Jelena Popović, German director Jakob Schuh, and Enrico Vanucci of the Venice and Torino Film Festivals, the Latvian project Kafka in Love by Zane Oborenko emerged as the winner and thus received €1,000. 

The Animation Sans Frontières Scholarship Award went to Croatia's Lea Vidaković for The Family Portrait, Bulgaria's Vessela Dantcheva received the CEE Animation Workshop Scholarship Award for Where to, directed by Asparuh Petrov, and Romanian producer Ioana Lascar pocketed the EAVE Marketing Workshop Scholarship for Viskovitz, directed by Serghei Chiviriga.
