The story, written by Amro Hamzawi, revolves around Éléonore, a 34-year-old trainee writer who has a never-ending string of odd jobs and one-night stands, while the only one she can confide in is her cat, Lucifer. When she finds out that her manuscript, which she had been pinning all her hopes on, will not be published, everything starts to fall apart...

Produced by Emmanuel Chaumet for Ecce Films, Just Like a Woman has been pre-purchased by OCS, TMC and TFX, and has also secured backing from the Cineventure Sofica. The seven-week shoot will continue until 25 October in Paris and the Ile-de-France region, with Léo Hinstin (nominated for the Lumières Award in his respective category in 2016 for Nocturama [+see also:
