The following details of the script have been released: when Jane (Hawkins) is dumped at the altar she has a breakdown and spirals into a chaotic world, where love (both real and imagined) and family relationships collide with both touching and humorous consequences.

Eternal Beauty is being produced by Adrian Bate of Cliff Edge Pictures, who enthuses: “Eternal Beauty will surprise and delight. It portrays schizophrenia, a much-misunderstood condition, with dignity, humour and affection. We are so fortunate to have the chance to work with this amazing cast who will inhabit and enhance Craig’s vision and characters.”

The executive producers are Mary Burke (BFI), Adam Partridge (Ffilm Cymru Wales), Pip Broughton (Cliff Edge), Meroë Candy (Wellcome), Paul Higgins (Dragon). The film is financed by the BFI (awarding funds from the National Lottery), Ffilm Cymru Wales, Welsh Government and Wellcome.

Bankside Films exclusively represents foreign sales rights for the film, while Endeavour Content and Bankside Films co-represent domestic sales rights.

Cliff Edge Pictures was formed 3 years ago after Robert’s well-received first film Just Jim. The company intends to support, develop and produce film & television projects that are creatively vibrant and startlingly original. They are currently working on a slate of projects for 2019 and beyond.
