, has finished shooting his first feature-length fiction film, The Load [+see also:

The Load spent more than six years seeking financing, as the director was not able to secure funds for the delicate theme that he also explores in Depth Two, and which is connected to the crimes of the Serbian army and police during the Kosovo War. As a matter of fact, the documentary was born of the research he was doing for the fiction film.

The team wants to remain as mysterious as possible about the thriller, so the only material they want published is the short synopsis, which reads: “During the NATO bombing of Serbia in 1999, Vlada is driving a freezer truck across the country. He does not want to know what the load is, but his cargo slowly becomes his burden.”

The main character is played by famous Croatian actor Leon Lučev (most recently seen in The Black Pin [+see also:

), and the film also stars Tamara Krcunović (Humidity [+see also:

).

Glavonić, Dragana Jovović and Stefan Ivančić are the producers through Non-Aligned Films, with Sophie Erbs of France's Cinema Defacto and Ankica Jurić Tilić of Croatia's Kinorama on board as co-producers.

The premiere is expected in early 2018.
