26/06/2003 - Tomorrow sees the domestic release of a documentary about the 60 activists arrested, tried and imprisoned after violence erupted at the 2001 G8 Summit in Goteborg

Terrorister – En Film Om Dom Dömda (Terrorists – A Film About Those Who Were Sentenced), a new documentary by Swedish director, Lukas Moodysson, will be released onto 19 Swedish screens on 27 June by courtesy of Folkets Bio.
The openly controversial film pleads the case of the 60 Swedish anti-global activists who were arrested, tried, convicted and condemned to a grand total of 45 years behind bars after taking part in the civil unrest on 15 June 2001 during the G8 Summit in Goteborg.
In a press release that Moodysson wrote and Folkets Bio issued, the director says that he decided to present the case of the 60 terrorists after listening to an interview that the Swedish minister of state, Göran Persson, gave to local TV news in which he called the 60 “terrorists belonging to a well-armed military group that had access to huge financial resources.”
