Ganz und Gar: a new blockbuster?

Constantin Film is releasing Ganz und gar (More and Better) , the directorial feature debut of Marco Kreutzpainter in Germany today, 5 May. Producers Olga Film (in partnership with SevenPictures Film) hope Ganz und Gar repeats the succes of last year's domestic hit, Mädchen, Mädchen and to that end they hired Maggie Peren, the screenwriter of Mädchen, Mädchen to write Ganz und Gar. Incidentally, a sequel to Mädchen, Mädchen is in the pipeline.
The new film is about an adolescent coming to terms with his life after a serious accident and it won an important award at the Saarbrücken Festival in January.
