French international sales agent SND will be hitting the Film Market at the 69th Cannes Film Festival (11-22 May 2016) endowed with a line-up of 12 titles, including two brand-new movies. Charlotte Boucon and Alexis Cassanet’s team will be launching pre-sales for the comedy Pleeeeeze by Philippe de Chauveron (Serial (Bad) Weddings [+see also:

), the shoot for which will kick off in June, with Christian Clavier, Belgium’s François Damiens and Canada’s Anne Dorval (Mommy) among the cast. Produced by Pulsar Productions and Ouille Productions, the film will depict the misfortunes of a famous left-wing author who is married to a rich heiress. During the promotion of his new book, which deals with our responsibility to help those in need, he is harassed by a journalist who asks him whether he would be capable of practising what he preaches, and as a result, he gives out his address live on air. This nugget of information does not fall on deaf ears, and the next morning, a nine-strong Roma family turns up at his door. And so begins a strange and complicated cohabitation situation...

The plot revolves around a 45-year-old man who discovers that his dad is not actually his dad, and so he sets off in search of – and finds – his biological father.
