. The shoot for Abracadabra will get under way in early May and will continue for just over two months on location in Madrid and Navarre.

According to its director-screenwriter, the plot of this dark comedy with hints of drama, suspense and science fiction revolves around Carmen (Verdú), a housewife who lives in the Carabanchel neighbourhood of Madrid. One day, she discovers that her husband, Carlos (De la Torre), seems to be possessed by an evil spirit, and so begins a thorough investigation, straddling terror and ludicrousness, to try and get him back.

Abracadabra is an Arcadia Motion Pictures and Perséfone Films AIE co-production, in partnership with Noodles Productions (France), and with the involvement of Atresmedia Cine, Movistar Plus+ and Belgian outfit Scope Pictures. Films Distribution will take care of its international sales.
