 (2014) collected 12 Edda Awards, Iceland's national film prize (including Best Film, Best Director and Best Script), adding the NDR Film Prize at the Nordic Film Days in Lübeck, will take to the football field for his next feature, The Great Football Adventure.

At Reykjavik's Stockfish International Film Festival, which runs until 28 February, Sagafilm producer Ragnar Agnarsson presented the project, which he will stage with Kjartan Þór ÞórðarsonÞórhallur Gunnarsson and Arnbjörg Hafliðadóttir

After his documentary Beyond Strength, Baldvin Z (Z for Zophoníasson) will follow ten-year-old Jón, who is one of the Icelandic kids that every year during the summer gather on a small island in the south to take part in a week-long football tournament. This time, Jón will have to grow up faster than he expected, both on and off the pitch.

Also, Icelandic director Óskar Þór Axelsson, whose first feature, Black's Game [+see also:

, received three Edda statuettes in 2013, has introduced a new feature, I Remember You, which Skúli Fr MalmquistÞórir Snær Sigurjónsson and Sigurjón Sighvatsson will produce for Zik Zak FilmworksJóhannes Haukur JóhannessonThor KristjanssonÁgústa Eva Erlendsdóttir and Sara Dögg Ásgeirsdóttir play the leads in the story about three young people from the city who are working to restore a decrepit building by a remote fjord, when a supernatural creature appears. Meanwhile, on the other side of the fjord, a psychiatrist is investigating a suicide.

Lastly, Óskar Þór Axelsson and Sagafilm producer Jóhann Ævar Grímsson are preparing to take Stella Blomkvist's thrillers to the small screen. So far, Blomkvist has been the author, narrator and protagonist of eight books about an ambitious young lawyer who takes on mysterious and often dangerous murder cases.
