), A Good Wife is the story of 50-year-old Milena (Karanović), who lives a calm and prosperous life with Vlada (Boris Isaković, from Circles [+see also:

), a former member of the special police forces during the wars in the former Yugoslavia – and now a successful property developer – and their two children.

After a routine check-up when the doctor suspects cancer, Milena starts a bout of hysterical spring cleaning and finds a VHS tape with footage of Vlada’s task force killing civilians during the war. From this point on, we follow Milena's struggle to face up to this fact, and her efforts to preserve the only thing she has in life – her family – with the help of her estranged older daughter Nataša (Hristina Popović, from Circles and Next to Me).
