Arguably the most consistent of the three volumes, The Desolate One is also the most narrative-driven and probably the most conventional and accessible of them all. The Desolate One, which has entered the Oscars race (read more), has also recently been chosen to represent Portugal in the race for the Goya in the Best Latin American Film category. The Goyas ceremony will be held in February 2016, in Madrid.

Meanwhile, Arabian Nights – The Restless One has become the third most-seen Portuguese film released in 2015, attracting almost 12,600 viewers and grossing nearly €64,200 so far.
