18/08/2015 - The Commission for Cinematography met on 30 July; first and second film projects granted funding include Alien Food by Giorgio Cugno

Fourteen feature film projects were recently granted funding from Mibact, the Italian Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism during the meeting of the Commission for Cinematography, which met on 30 July, for a total of €5 million. The highest sum (€700 thousand) of this first session of 2015 was allocated to Ferzan Ozpetek’s new film, Rosso Istanbul (R&C Produzioni), whilst €650 thousand will go to La pazza gioia by Paolo Virzì (Lotus Production) and Due by Kim Rossi Stuart (Palomar).

Ivan Cotroneo will receive €450 for Un bacio [+see also:
