Written by Danièle Thompson herself, the story revisits the friendship between Paul Cézanne and Émile Zola, starting from the moment they leave Aix-en-Provence, right up until they arrive in Paris. There, fate, various encounters, love affairs and fame will constantly both unite them and prise them apart... 

Produced by Albert Koski for G Films, Cézanne et moi is being co-produced by France 2 Cinéma, Orange Studio, Alter Films and Pathé, which will also handle the French theatrical release and the title’s international sales.
