The Netherlands Film Production Incentive has announced support for 28 new projects (17 fiction features and 11 documentaries), which will receive cash rebates totalling nearly €5,831,000. These figures are the result of the scheme’s second round for 2015.

Among the winning titles of this second round are new projects by several Dutch filmmakers, some of whom are making the transition from short, documentary or TV series formats to fiction-feature directing for the first time. The list also includes a number of foreign directors who are developing projects with a Dutch co-producer, such as Belgian director Nathalie Teirlinck, Belgian duo Peter Brosens and Jessica Woodworth, and Argentina’s Lucrecia Martel – for the fiction-feature projects – and Czech Republic-born director Petr Lom in the section reserved for documentaries.
