The gathering, which is organised by the Alliance Française Puerto Rico, will host the first edition of “Festinema Junior, L’Alliance fait son cinoche’’, an educational French-language film programme for young children. It will also pay a visit to universities with “Cine a Universidades” and will include a short-film competition in which seven films directed by Puerto Rican filmmakers will vie for the top prize. TOTAL is on board as the event’s main partner, while it also has the support of the Economic Development and Commerce Department/Film Programme, UBS Financial Services Incorporated of Puerto Rico, the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture/National Endowment for the Arts and Air Europa.
