Written by Fabienne Berthaud and Pascal Arnold (a working duo for Lily Sometimes), the screenplay is centred on Romy (Diane Kruger), a beautiful woman seemingly severe who is on a road-trip in the United States with her husband Richard (Gilles Lellouche). She cuts her ties to a stable and secure life that has become alienating and escapes toward the unknown. Wandering through a noisy Las Vegas, and later amidst the fascinating depths of the desert, she continues on her lone voyage, relying only on her intuition. Freed, she will thus cross paths with Diego (Norman Reedus), a charismatic and solitary man with whom she will share an unbelievable and pure love...
