Jolein Laarman, who also wrote the script for Little Bird, is teaming up with Koole once again to write a family drama tackling the topics of forgiving, love and death. The movie focuses on a terminally ill woman who travels abroad to tell her mother about her condition. But doing so seems like an impossible task, as old pain and numerous reproaches tend to keep the two women apart. An inevitable emotional outburst will bring about a profound change in their relationship.
