- The Panorama of the European Film in Cairo (19-29 November) celebrates Switzerland with a Swiss Focus dedicated to the issue of migration
The city of Cairo will give a voice to European cinema thanks to a festival that strives to be a promotion platform for multi award-winning films and documentaries, but also for productions by young and upcoming directors. Swiss cinema will have a strong presence at Panorama of the European Film in Cairo through a Special Focus that concentrates on the sensitive issue of migration and identity. Emphasis will be placed on those documentaries that have courageously and sensitively given a voice to individuals that are too often ignored.
