), the story revolves around Serge, who is one of the very best salesmen in France. For 30 years, he has been on the prowl in shopping areas and department stores, generating an instant and highly impressive return on investment for his employers. He has sacrificed everything for his career: his friends, his partners and his son, Gérald, whom he never sees – and his health, too. Produced by Florence Borelly for Sésame Films, Vendeur is co-produced by France 2 Cinéma. Having been pre-purchased by Canal+ and Ciné+, the feature is also backed by the CNC’s advance on receipts. As previously reported, the project had been selected for the Emergence initiative. The eight-week shoot will take place in the Ile-de-France and Centre regions. Distribution in France and international sales will be handled by Bac Films.
