The Italian government approved the culture bill on May 22. “We finally have a serious and trustworthy interlocutor,” the president of ANICA, Riccardo Tozzi, declared.
“We can only be satisfied with the increase in numbers given towards tax credit, from €110 to €115 million and the increase up to €10 million for tax credits destined for individual foreign films. According to the ANICA president, “Minister Dario Franceschini has declared in various sets of circumstances that for him - culture, cinema and the audiovisual industries are part of this country’s richness. The bill shows us he truly believes this.”
