Nine days before the unveiling of the Official Selection of the 67th Cannes International Film Festival (14-25 May 2014), which is to take place on Thursday 17 April at 11 am in Paris, general delegate Thierry Frémaux and president Gilles Jacob’s team has revealed the identity of the chair of the Un Certain Regard jury: Argentinian director Pablo Trapero.

“I am very proud to be the chair of the Un Certain Regard jury. I’m proud of being able to take part in the whole Cannes adventure in a different way. Un Certain Regard, which is where I presented three of my films, is always a fascinating selection. In it, you find great masters, promising young talent, new countries and new forms of cinema,” Trapero remarked.
