10/03/2014 - An advance on receipts also given to Diastème, Vanja d'Alcantara, Otar Iosseliani, Eva Husson, Uda Benyamina, Ramzi Ben Sliman and Louis Garrel

Nine feature-film projects have been selected by the CNC in its first 2014 session to award advances on receipts. Among these titles are five picked by the second committee, including Belles familles [+see also:

film profile] by Jean-Paul Rappeneau. Announced by Fidélité Films, the project, which is already benefitting from backing by the Ile-de-France region (see news), has been picked up for distribution by ARP Sélection.

A promise of an advance on receipts was also made to Childhood [+see also:

film profile]), for which pre-sales were launched at Berlin by its producer, Les Films du Losange (see news).

The CNC will also be supporting Un Français by Diastème (produced by Philippe Lioret and Marielle Duigou for Fin Août Production), the filmmaker’s second feature, following Sunny Spells [+see also:
