film profile], drew in the crowds in Belgium as well as abroad (it was sold in almost 25 territories and had around 145,000 admissions in France). With this new opus, Enthoven has changed his tone completely. Following his humanist comedy in the style of a “European road movie”, he has returned with a ghost movie that straddles thriller and romantic-comedy territory. 

Stef has just got himself a fantastic real-estate deal – an Art Nouveau manor for next to nothing – in the wake of an acrimonious divorce. Unluckily for him, he finds that he is not quite as alone as he had hoped to be, since a scantily clad phantom – who is none other than the previous owner of the house – comes to haunt his day-to-day existence… At the helm of the project is the triumphant team from Come as You Are: Enthoven directing, Pierre de Clercq writing the script and Mariano Vanhoof (for Fobic Films) producing. Appearing in front of the camera will be two famous Flemish actors: Koen De Graeve and Jurgen Delnaet. Two prestigious Belgian co-productions are also coming out this week. Following Nothing to Declare, Artémis is once again joining forces with Dany Boon for Superchondriac [+see also:

film profile] – which were nonetheless totally respectable – turned out to be disappointing on the heels of the success experienced by Welcome to the Sticks [+see also:

film profile], expectations have been lowered for this new opus, which also marks the reappearance of Kad Merad in front of the star director’s cameras. Alternative, which is releasing the film in over 40 cinemas, will nevertheless have to face up to some stiff competition, particularly from Trois Frères. Another major release on the eve of the school holidays is that of Minuscule [+see also:

film profile], by Thomas Szabo and Hélène Giraud, which was co-produced in Belgium by Entre chien et loup. Cinéart is releasing the film across almost 30 screens.
