13 features in competition, retrospectives notably dedicated to John Carpenter (who prepared 17 double-programmes mixing his own films with other titles in the history of cinema) and Jacques Doillon (who will present four of his films in the presence amongst others of Caroline Champetier), a "Work in Progress" section awarding funding for post-production, and a wide variety of annexe events: the 28^th edition of the EntreVues Festival which begins tomorrow in Belfort under the direction of a new managing team (led by Lili Hinstin who is helped by Pierre Menahem) does not lack in assets with an editorial line focused on showing first, second and third features that allowed the winners’ list to include filmmakers such as Pascale Ferran (1995), Walter Salles (1996), Pedro Costa (1997), Laurent Cantet (1999), Abdellatif Kechiche (2003), Michelangelo Frammartino, Joao Pedro Rodrigues, Albert Serra, Corneliu Porumboiu, Wang Chao and last year the duo Véréna Paravel - Lucien Castaing-Tayor (for Leviathan [+see also:
