STREAMS Festival, connecting film to the Internet

The network of independent European Video on Demand platforms EuroVoD launches the second edition of the STREAMS Festival – the first European film festival taking place entirely online. From November 15 to December 15, Internet users from the 9 participant countries will be able to enjoy the screenings of 17 European recent feature films – two from each country, and one from Iceland.

STREAMS’ selection showcases films outside their country of origin for the first time. The films are: Dragomir Sholev’s Shelter [+see also:

The jury will award a prize (3,500€) to the best film; and audiences will be able to vote for their favourite film in the Public Award.

EuroVoD’s platforms where the festival will happen are France and Belgium’s UniversCiné, Spain’s Filmin, Ireland’s Volta, Germany’s Good!Movies, Austria’s Flimmit, Switzerland’s LeKino.ch, Bulgaria’s Netcinema.bg and Iceland’s Icelandic Cinema Online.
