. A graduate of the ESSEC and the directing section of the Fémis, the young filmmaker already directed four shorts, notably Dans le rang (SACD Prize at the Directors’ Fortnight 2006). The cast of this first feature brings together Harmandeep Palminder, Elisabeth Lando and Vikram Sharma.

When he arrives in Paris from India, he hopes to work to send money back to his parents who are in debt after sending him to France. But the man who brought him to France gets rid of him by handing him over to child services. Categorized as an Isolated Foreign Minor, Many is put under the care of the French State. After two years of exemplary behaviour, he has become a teenager like any other. Without loosing his ties to the Sikh community, Many is on the path to integration and is a problem to no one. Except to his parents to whom he doesn’t send any money...

Produced by Isabelle Madelaine for Dharamsala and Émilie Tisné for Darius Films, Bébé Tigre was pre-purchased by Canal+ and Ciné+. Backed by an advance on receipts from the CNC, the Île de France region (where the entire filming will take place until November 6) and the Sofica Manon 4, the feature will be distributed in France by Haut et Court and sold internationally by Films Distribution.

Since its creation, Dharamsala bets on an editorial line that favours discovery and loyalty to young talent such as Lyes Salem (nominated for the César 2009 for Best First Film with Mascarades and currently in post-production for L'Oranais - news), Gérald Hustache-Mathieu (Avril and Poupoupidou [+see also:
