The filming of La jalousie by Philippe Garrel (photo) casting Louis Garrel, Anna Mouglalis, Rebecca Convenant, Olga Milshtein and Esther Garrel will begin on the 4^th of February. film profile] in 2008). The title shines on the list of seven feature film projects selected by the 1^st session 2013 of the Support Fund for Film and Audiovisual Technical Industries of the Ile-de-France region.

Written by Philippe Garrel with Caroline Deruas, Marc Chodolenko and Arlette Langmann, the screenplay focuses on a 30 year old man who lives with a woman in a furnished flat. It is a love story. But this man had a child with another woman, whom he abandoned.

Produced by Saïd Ben Saïd for SBS Productions, La jalousie benefits from a budget of about 2,4 M including an advance on receipts from the CNC. The Ile-de-France region will support the film up to 324,000 euros. The shooting will last five weeks and Wild Bunch will carry out the international sales. It should be noted that SBS also carries Un château en Italie by Valeria Bruni-Tedeschi (article) in post-production and will start the filming of Maps To The Stars by David Cronenberg (with Rachel Weisz, Viggo Mortensen and Robert Pattinson – news) in May. The Ile-de-France region will also support Folies Bergères by Marc Fitoussi (Avenue B Productions – 432,000 euros), Les missionnaires by Tonie Marshall (Tabo Tabo Films – 390,000 euros), the first feature films 98 by Hélène Zimmer (Les Films du Lendemain – 370,000 euros) and Fièvres by Hicham Ayouch (La Vingt-Cinquième Heure – 360,000 euros), as well as two documentary projects: Drancy, la cité muette (Ligne de Mire Production – 25,000 euros) and Révolution Sida (Noodles Productions – 81,000 euros). It should finally be noted that the post-production support fund will back Gare du Nord remix by Claire Simon (Les Films d’Ici) and Faire quelque chose by Vincent Goubet (Trois 7 films).
