The Bavarian Award for the Best Director's Debut Film was attributed to Michaela Kezele for My Beautiful Country, the Pierrot for the Best Male Newcomer to Sabin Tambrea for his performance as the young monarch in Ludwig II by Peter Sehr and Marie Noëlle, the Prize for the Best Female Newcomer to Lisa Brand for her role in The Foster Boy by Markus Imboden, and the award for the Best Debut Production to the producers of Nemez directed by Stanislav Güntner.
