28 year-old Virág Zomborácz (photo) will begin shooting her first feature film, Afterlife, in February in Pecs. Winner of the MEDIA European Talent Prize in 2011, the project, which is a mix between a genre film, a drama and a comedy, focuses on the story of a father who had always considered his son to be a ghost, before becoming one himself. This twist of fate will give the son the possibility of dealing, in a very odd way, with his personal issues with the deceased.Written by the director, the screenplay portrays the family of a pastor and concentrates on the relationship between a father and his son, but only after the death of the former. The son must discover what keeps his father's annoying ghost in its earthly dimension. Following the instructions of a medium, the son begins to deal with many unanswered questions in order to liberate the ghost. But this unusual grieving process begins to affect the life of the whole family.
