The film tells the story of Andrea, a superficial womanizer in his thirties, with a thriving career in a product placement company. His life is a whirlwind of work, fun and one-night stands. This comes to a grinding halt when one day, he walks through the door of his own house to find Layla, a girl who claims to be his daughter, waiting for him. Her ex-rocker grandfather, Andrea’s supposed father-in-law, is with her too. They are there to stay.

Buongiorno papà, to be almost entirely shot in Rome, except for two days in Orvieto, is being produced by Fulvio and Federica Lucisano and will be distributed by Medusa mid-March 2013.
