Scripted by Lindholm, with Pilou Asbæk and Søren Malling in the leads, A Hijacking deals with the human consequences of modern piracy, after a cargo ship, MV Bozen, is captured by Somali pirates in the Indian Ocean.

World-premiered in the Orrizonti series at the Venice International Film Festival, later screened at the Toronto International Film Festival, A Hijacking was immediately licensed to Benelux (A-Film) and Korea (Atnine Film) by Denmark's TrustNordisk.

The international sales agency has now closed deals for the UK (Arrow Film Distributors, France (Ad Vitam) and Turkey (Calinos Entertainment), and a number of territories are being negotiated. "We couldn’t have hoped for a better start," said TrustNordisk CEO Rikke Ennis.

Released on September 6, also by Nordisk, Love Is All You Need has become one of the fastest-selling features in the 2000s, reaching 400,000 admissions within three weeks and still No 1 on the charts from 484,204 sold tickets – far quicker that her previous films, including The One and Only, her latest romantic comedy (1999).

The Sisse Graum Jørgensen-Vibeke Windeløv production for Zentropa Entertainments, starring Danish actress Trine Dyrholm and Irish actor Pierce Brosnan, has been licensed to more than 100 countries by TrustNordisk.
