11/09/2012 - The list includes films by Haneke, Loach, Polanski, Mungiu and other big names in European cinema

The European Film Academy has announced the titles of the 47 films from 31 European countries recommended for a nomination for the European Film Awards (EFA) 2012.

In the coming weeks, the 2,700 members of the European Film Academy will vote for the nominations in the different award categories. The nominations will be announced on November 3 during the Seville European Film Festival in Spain. The European Film Awards will take place in Malta on December 1.
