Four German successes at Giffoni

The 42nd Giffoni Film Festival (July 14-24) has acknowledged the quality of Germany's productions for children by handing four awards to four titles, including Mike Marzuk's adaptation of Enid Blyton's most famous book series, Famous Five. The SamFilm GmbH production by the director of Rock it!, seen by over a million Germans since its January release by Constantin Film Verleih (currently 11th at the national box-office), won the Best Film Gryphon Award in the Elements +6 section.
