German films and co-productions on show in Karlovy Vary

- The Czech festival is featuring a significant number of quality German co-productions

This year, the 47th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (June 29–July 7) is screening an impressive number of titles illustrating Germany's commitment to co-productions and the documentary genre. (photo), Uruguay's Alicia Cano's The Bella Vista, Jacob Dammas and Helge Renner's Polish Illusions, and Marten Persiel's This Ain't California, and Austria's Michael Glawogger's Whore's Glory (co-produced in Germany by Quinte Film) is showing out of competition.
